THE MOM BEHIND THE LENS

Two years ago, I hired a photographer to take photos of my son as a newborn. I watched in amazement as she perfectly captured his tiny little face, the excitement my daughters felt holding their baby brother, and the look of pure joy in mine and my husband's faces as we held our family together in our home.

This moment sparked my passion for photography. I have four children now, and time is flying by like crazy. Somehow my oldest, my baby girl, has turned into a full blown (pre)preteen, and my sweet baby boy has turned into a toddler monster!

They're all growing way too fast, and although my phone takes great photos, I wanted to be able to capture the full beauty and magic of my family and other families like ours in all phases of life.

Since 2020, I have been growing and cultivating my photography; studying online resources, joining photography communities, and practicing on friends and family. In 2022, I brought my fourth child into the world and with all of the chaos already happening, I decided to take a break from my job as a middle school math teacher and become a full time mother and photographer. As I saw my skills and confidence grow, I finally took the plunge and opened my photography business. I'm excited to see where this part of my story takes me!
